Locksmiths install, service, maintain, and repair mechanical and electronic security products – keys, locks, safes, and associated hardware. Locksmiths are highly skilled and are required to be trade qualified and licensed to work.
All professional locksmiths have to complete a 4 year apprenticeship and complete a Certificate III in Locksmithing. They are also required to pass a police check and have a current security license. We provide on going training for all of our certified locksmiths to keep up with current techniques, guidelines and standards.
Yes, we always ask for ID to make sure that you live at the address in your service request. If your driver's license does not have that address on it, we will usually ask for an electricity bill etc with your name on it, then make sure it matches the name on your driver's license. If your information is in the house, business or car we’ll enter in with you to confirm the details then.
Yes, we also provide a key cutting service in case you’ve lost a key or require a replacement. We have an extremely large range of keys. In the vast majority of situations we can cut keys from the number. We may need some additional information depending on what the key is for. Such as; make, model and year if it’s a car key or type of cabinet, photo or brand if it’s for a filing cabinet.
Our locksmith pricing varies depending on the type of job required, however average pricing on the Central Coast can range from $20 to $350. Call-out fees after hours and on weekend may vary from work hours during the week.Â
Some of our common services and rough costs include:
- Changing locks - between $50 to $300
- Re-keying cost - between $50 - $300
- Lockout Service - between $50 to $250Â
These prices are just rough costings as all jobs are unique and will incur varying costs.Â
Our locksmiths are located at Avoca Beach and service the entire Central Coast, specifically targeting suburbs such as Terrigal, Green Point, Kincumber, Wamberal, Saratoga, Copacabana and Erina
Our arrival time depends on your location on the Central Coast. We generally take between 20 minutes to an hour to reach you.
We have a variety of payment methods available to make it easy for you, which includes Visa, Mastercard, debit card and cash. Our vans carry EFTPOS machines for your convenience.
